The only two missing are a asian child labourer hanging from a sports clothing CEO or a poor, uneducated western child hanging from a wealthy politician. Apart from that, spot on.

"The first image refers to pedophilia in the Vatican. Second child sexual abuse in tourism in Thailand, and the third refers to the war in Syria. The fourth image refers to the trafficking of organs on the black market, where most of the victims are children from poor countries; fifth refers to weapons free in the U.S.. And finally, the sixth image refers to obesity, blaming the big fast food companies.
The new series produced by Cuban artist Erik Ravelo was titled as "The untouchables", are photographs of children crucified for his supposed oppressors, each for a different reason and a clear message, seeks to reaffirm the right of children to be protected and report abuse suffered by them especially in countries such as Brazil, Syria, Thailand, United States and Japan"

One thing they forget is women who abuse children and there are plenty that do.

There are women that stand by while their boyfriends and husbands torture their kids. What do you call that? Happens all the time here in OK. Every once in a while one is guilty of the torture, abuse and neglect without the men. Yes women can be just as horrid.

Are they still struggling with that?

Second child sexual abuse in tourism in Thailand,
Speaking of which; has anyone seen AP lately? I beleive Thailand was his home away from home.

and the third refers to the war in Syria.
Sounds like Syria's problem.

fifth refers to weapons free in the U.S..
Free weapons in the US?!

Don't eat there and that part of the problem goes away.
Duh

can always count on R to defend the indefensible and make light of the misfortunes of the less fortunate.

Way to lower the tone.

You're the figurative unwelcome drunk at my figurative party of a thread.

Not much of even a "figurative party" if it's been on the board for 3 days and has gotten only 6 replies which is less than one complete page. Hell, my 5 Reasons Liberals Are Such Unpleasant People To Be Around had over 10 pages in the same time it's taken yours to get less than one full page.
You should thank R for keeping it from sinking into the abyss it was headed for after only 4 replies. You know, after you got all uncivil when ooOoOoOAnaOoOoOoo truthfuly pointed out that there are women who abuse children.

Mankind's cruelty to children is an inescapable reality. It's one of the reasons I'd hold a party on the day my hometown gets nuked.

Yes, because that was a point that direly NEEDED to be made wasn't it?

No, it was just one of your characteristic replies when someone else makes an honest comment about something that you choose to ignore.

It wasn't Thomas who ignored it, it was whomever made that pictorial statement. He probably thought I was being flippant, but then again he has no idea what it is like to live in OK. If he did, he would understand.

Judging from past threads, Thomas seems to be anti-man and in this case took offense when you stated that women in general shared considerable guilt where child abuse is concerned.

I doubt he is anti man but he does stand up for women and he might of thought i was taking a swipe at my own sex but that is not the case. I was just being honest. Some women are way too passive about child abuse. Just my observation.
