Maybe his restriction on protesting were wrong, but he asked for permiss from his superiors, so the blame is not all his. He gets in trouble for punking who deserved to be punked, but is anyone in trouble, legally, for threatening the life of an elected official?

I loathe the Tea Party but the police chief crossed a line.
