What does this say about his supporters. I still think Trump is just trolling them.

Knowing the type of people who support him, that's probably right.

All the evidence points to him bieng right. If he does this many will say he not only talks tough but he is a man of action backs it up the perfect man to America great again. If there was not the matter spending the next few years in prison instead of the White House I have no doubt he would do it and do it for the sole purpose of gaining votes. I would not be surprised if he slugs another candidate before this campaign is all said and done.

THEY said I could shoot someone on 5th street and still not lose support.
The media makes fun of us Trumpets and likes to call us names, in this case gullible. He's echoing the fact of the media doing this.
It takes the erasure of one word to turn an honest statement into a piece of propaganda!! !

They did this too with George Zimmerman to start BLM by making him look racist.
He can actually shoot someone in self defense and not lose support but as we conservatives know the media is full of liberals and don't believe in the concept of protection.

Depends on who he shot.

Why should Doanld Trump lose support for, hypothetically, doing what the current president has already done more than once?

What does "make America great again" actually mean? people tend to romanisise the past.

What are we taking about 70s, 80s, 90s, 00, 07 recessions?

Are you talking about that Industrial revolutions don't last forever and that people expect a higher standard of living as time goes on?

Trump is the master of vague. Phrases like that are par for the course.

Trump is a loose cannon. He's not qualified to be President.

I would take even Ted Cruz over him (should I be forced, at the point of a gun, to make that choice!)

To go with noam chomsky: "the other candidates are not that different"
- albeit, Trump, like Borat, is bringing out the worst in everyone, by being so horrible, it creates a safe space for others to be horrible - and not just a safe space, but the need for them to utter extreme stuff, in hope of getting any media attention at all.

What ever happened to the idea of world peace? Oh, right, we're headed for WW3....

Yep....if Trump is ever elected, we would have Borat in the President's Chair.

The type of guy who would show off his urine to guests at a party he was invited to.

Could he not shoot himself?

Let's cut to the chase about Trump.
This is the gist of why the left has thier collective panties in knots over him:

"• I don't like firing people; work makes people better. (Dec 2011)
• Food stamps should be temporary; not a decade on the dole. (Dec 2011)
• Apply welfare-to-work to 76 other welfare programs. (Dec 2011)
• Let “saints” help teen moms; restrict public assistance. (Jul 2000)"

He's not welfare friendly so go figure...

I'm not "welfare-friendly," either.

So what if Trump has a few good ideas.

He would be a figurehead in the White House, someone whom the international community sees as being a buffoon.

The international community already sees Obama and Clinton as buffoons, so what's the difference?

Trump has New York Concealed Carry, the gold standard, which is recognized in most other states.

His security has him in a car that the windows will stop thirty rounds from an AK 47, and the body panels will stop .50 caliber.

He looks thick in the trunk, I think he wears body armor.

He always speaks from a podium, I am sure it is hardened. He never does the mike in hand walking around on stage.
When there is a disturbance in the crowd Trump moves to put the podium between it and himself.

I have seen threats on the internet, and this is American politics.

He has actively called out El Chapo and Radical Islamic Terrorists.

He will not be an easy target.
