I'm 16, part Turkish, part Tatar, and part Circassian. The ethnocenteric religion of the Circassians is Adyghe Habze. I'm only 6.25 or 12.5 percent Circassian, but my best friend is an eclectic neopagan so I thought it'd be okay. My parents are Sunny Muslim and part of the Gulen movement but I've grown disillusione with Islam. Would it be okay to follow a faith that hardly anyone follows, and if so, how do I not feel bad about leaving my past behind, and how do I break it to my loved ones?
