From my perspective it seems people on the spectrum have as wide of range of views as those off it.

I'm liberal in some things, conservative in others, middle-of-the-road in others.

My views depend on how they affect my microcosmic situation.

I'm in the US.

I don't tend to espouse socially-conservative views.

Previous polls suggest that users of WrongPlanet skew to the left, and skew heavily liberal.

However, this is consistent with internet users in general, so could be caused by some factor other than autism (e.g. youth).

Left leaning libertarian. Depending on the issue I could agree with either party. I could never support either party though as the current affairs of our government (U.S.) make supporting them impossible.

In my view labour isn't left wing anymore.

I'm a Socialist in the USA.

I don't identify with partisan leaders, because none of them are actually out to work on what needs to be worked on.

either, both and neither.

i don't really know which wing is what, since they all overlap over the centre anyway.

If i need to use a label; i'd say something like 'progressive socialism', but really, there's none that really fits

I lean towards the right on both social and economic issues. I feel that its unusual for many people under 40 these days to be as Conservative as I am. I feel like a rooster out of coup most times. Luckily, I live in the South where most people still have traditional family values.

I used to be more middle-of-the-road or center-right Libertarian-ish, though now that I'm no longer an unstable alcoholic, I've become an unshakeable leftist. I'm registered Green Party, though that doesn't necessarily mean I always agree with them 100%. Needless to say, I'm just slightly right of Mao Tse Tung on the political spectrum.

My politics are primarily influenced by my religious beliefs, and I proudly join the scores of Christian leftists who forcefully oppose the right-wing's hostile hijacking and exploitation of Christianity to serve their own political agenda while moving further and further away from the actual messages of Jesus Christ. As far as I'm concerned, the GOP is orchestrated by Satan. :P

Yes, I was about to say that's *WrongPlanet's* demographics, not an accurate representation of autistic people as a whole.

Left.

I was in the Socialist Party (England and Wales) while I was at university reading computer science. Marxism appeals to my systems thinking and I was brought up to believe in fairness (grandfather was a Lib Dem councillor). The SP don't have a branch in Cornwall though so now I'm in the National Health Action party.
