Is this pretty much what the 1960's felt like? All this anger and turmoil with riots and killing because of racism?


Must have been a sucky time to be alive... I don't know how I will get through the 2020's.

The 60's seem pretty far-out to me, man, like they had some of the best music ever. The Beatles. Lava lamps. The moon landing...my parents grew up in the decade, they must remember.


But to be honest I don't know about the drug culture. Funny how people back then took drugs to make the world look weird, and now people take drugs to make it look normal.

Other than Not Being Able to Speak Until 4;

But That Just Gave me the Opportunity to Become

So, In Other Words, i had
All a Human could Possibly
Want Through Age 4, Understanding
that i was Just ParT OF iT All NaTuRally ENOUGH.

The Vietnam Era Protests and Civil Rights Protests
Were Just a Few Minute Experience on the National
News in Appropriately Black and White; Not Much for a Child to be concerned
About; At Least Not in the Small Town Segregated Culture i lived in then on the River;

i did find it Strange
That Black Folks Had
to Sit in the Balcony of
The Movie Theater Away
From Us Below; i thought that
made them special; even Higher
And Mightier in a way than the White Folks Down Stairs...

They Seemed Happy and We Were Happy too; can't ask for much more it seems...

I miss the 90's, mostly for the entertainment. Today's entertainment is garbage.

It was as much if not more about Vietnam as a race.

The '60s were the opposite of now in that the push was for more freedom of speech and expression.

I remember dropping acid for the first time in 1967. I was in kindergarten.

The 1960s were okay, I was at primary school then. I think the balance was right between social liberalism and a traditional society,unlike now when social liberalism has morphed into a very illiberal political correctness and identity politics, which have the potential to destroy Western societies, IMO.

The seventies in the UK was a very interesting and quite enjoyable decade, despite the propaganda from ultra-Thatcherites and 'Libertarian' Conservatives which has aimed to rewrite the period for ideological reasons.
