Not sure how likely this is to actually happen, but I certainly hope it's true.

You think they're pretty much the same? Interesting. I was just thinking that one is a liar, a corporate shill and a felon, while the other is not. But I guess that's not a HUGE difference.

All of them are liars, corporate shills and potential felons, some are just better at hiding it.

One career politician is as good or as bad as any other career politician, and not one of them is a saint.

Sanders is a thief who proposes to steal money from people.

That is why his supporters portray him as "Robin Hood".

The Sandernistas seem to think that anyone living above the poverty level is "rich" and deserving of being "robbed" to give to the poor.

I never said I totally buy into everything Sanders says. But I'd much more readily vote for him, the guy who was never a part of the establishment and who's campaign is built on principle, than the OBVIOUS felon Hillary Clinton or the cartoonish businessman Donald Trump.

Disagree with him all you want. Criticize his narrow focus on specific issues or how he went easy on Hillary in the debates. Call him evil for wanting to steal from the poor, poor rich people who are going to be destroyed if they don't get to keep all their money. At least he's been consistent, and he wants money out of politics. That can't be said for Trump or Hillary.

I guess they're not communists, though. And according to people like you guys, anyone who even tries to explain the nuance of socialism, which has at least two definitions, is immediately an evil commie come to steal your guns, rape your kids and put you in a concentration camp.

You're not alone, L_Holmes. I'm still a Sanders supporter for my own reasons, even though everyone around me would rather not pick any of them. They're all extremists, all sad and comedic in their own way, and they all have bad points. But when it really comes down to it, it's a matter of deciding who is the lesser evil.

People don't realize how far to the right the political spectrum has shifted recently. Hillary, Obama and pretty much every other mainstream Democrat is center-right (Hillary even admitted to this before she had to start competing with Bernie's much more progressive stances, at which point she changed her story), while the Republicans are so far right they're off the charts. Bernie seems extreme by comparison, but by normal standards, he's more of a left-leaning centrist.

Bernie is equivalent to a European Social Democrat. He'd do pretty well there--especially if he could find a way to be fiscally responsible.

Europe is veering to the right, too, at this point--though not as right as America at this point.

I'm not especially keen on his ideas pertaining to taxation--but I'm not really turned off to him, either.

I don't think he'd win in a general election, though, based upon the political climate here.

Then again...if Trump was able to get the Presumptive Nomination....anything can happen!

Bernie fans only hope is if Hillary get indicted and she has a the humility to drop out(doubtful on multiple fronts) and even then the DNC would give to nomination to Joe Biden almost guaranteed. Bernie has a better chance winning as a third party candidate than he does at the Democratic nomination.

Not a Bernie fan but it was not rocket science that some shady deal to skew with the superdelegate system went on and robbed him. His total communist economic senses is what shys me away. It requires bigger govt.

He is an ancient guy, I hope he doesn't make any of the rabid establishment his VP or he will meet a "mysterious" heart attack after dinner 6 months in if he gets elected

I've been seeing those videos on YouTube for quite some time now. I'll believe it when the wicked witch of wall street is rotting in jail.
