Posts and pieces of posts are going missing.

Like in Civil War 1, people are probably going to remember it, in a warm and fuzzy way, which mutates, over time, to conform to their political tastes.

The only civil war that America needs is this.

Billionaires Vs. Everyone Else

Having billions means the ability to hire an army. Don't forget that part.

Nobody said this would be easy.

Not really.

It's not a war if only one side is fighting and the other side is hopelessly confused.

It won't be a war until the billionaires are trembling with fear.

Right now, the billionaires are out of the spotlight. They're feeling fine and dandy because they can do whatever they want, and the masses will blame immigrants, Islam, liberals, "black culture", video games, atheism, cannabis, or whatever.

Oh, the billionaires have been launching their offensive of economic warfare for decades now. The rest of us just haven't launched a counter attack, yet.

They were called labor unions. Does anyone remember those?

Absolutely I do. My dad had been a departmental grievance man (shop steward) in the United Steelworkers of America.

It was discovered, in war, that too many people refused to shoot, pretended to shoot, or just ran.

Some were shot, for desertion and cowardice.

Some were trained to shoot targets, not even shaped like humans -- an 'anything that moves' mentality.

At least, since Korean War 1, this 'employer of last resort' has filled it's ranks with the nihilists and 5th columnists, who they thought would do the work, without question.

Besides taking place, in the dregs of society, civil war takes place, within an administration, because you have given specious, social promotions, to people with mutually-incompatible worldviews. Whoever is right or wrong, the point is, they could not work together.

They are subject to friendly fire and sabotage, of the variety usually practiced by labor activists. They used to be nicknamed "gremlins," which helped to obfuscate the real, political cause of it.

It won't be much of a war. The last time someone tried to succeed from the union they lost and that was back when the union was armed with bolt action rifled. Nowadays there's a much bigger arms gap.

I know the crazies talk about using guerrilla tactics but guerrilla tactics don't work when they get bombed from 30,000 feet. They'll never see the face of their killer.

How do you prevent a plane from taking off? By sabotaging the runway of course. Try sabotaging an air force runway. See if the air force lets you.

Destabilization is a tactic, in war, usually assumed to be fomented by an external enemy, or disinterested, third party. We keep asking whether the left or the right wins that war.

Outwardly, one of them will.

Inwardly, the country would fall into receivership.

The West has overextended itself, and, afaic, our protectorates have been nationalizing our labor colonies and outposts, for the last 30yrs, or so.

Our people want to play the victim card, or the Pepe card, never to question whether we are being baited by some foreign interest or authoritarian.

"Playing the victim card" isn't always a bad thing. Oppression does exist in this world.

Unfortunately, some people in the white working class blame religious and racial minorities for their problems. The only truly harmful minority is the billionaire lobbyist class.

The lobbyists are like a mind-altering Cordyceps fungus. They've ruined our government, and they've convinced us that "Governments have always been bad. It's not because we screwed it up!"

Lots of people put themselves through unimaginable amounts of mental strain and physical strain as they attempt to make ends meet ... only to fail. Blaming someone else in this scenario is natural ... though you need to know who to blame.

Protip: Always blame the lobbyists. Sometimes you have more than one oppressor ... but you should always blame the lobbyists.

I was ok with this line of discussion, when Ben Franklin protested the Tax Stamp Act, and Gandhi went on a Salt March.

Most, now, are crony capitalists, with no intention, "to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth."

They mainly want to leverage the resources of others, no?
