How Politics is Like Mario Party
Guys. I just realized something. Politics is just like Mario Party. Hear me out.
How Politics is Like Mario Party:
- It ruins friendships.
- A large portion of the game is random.
- Characters are shot, flattened, burned and exploded in the mini-games ... but nobody sees it as a big deal.
- Alliances change from turn to turn.
- Stealing is just part of the game.
- It's the same every year with only slight tweaks and gimmicks.
- It's full of long, unskippable cutscenes.
- Even a child can understand it because of how asinine it is.
- It's entirely possible to win by doing absolutely nothing. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRx6WyFzhxU)
- You go around in circles.
- The worst mini-games are the mic mini-games. (but in Mario Party you can turn them off)
- Watching people's reactions to the game is more fun than the game itself.
Am I onto something or what?
