What with Anarcho-Capitalism being, in its essence, a form of Lassaize-Faire Libertarianism, you are likely to find that while many people may proclaim Anarcho-Capitalism as their primary politico-economic worldview, very few (if any) have either the fortitude or the resources to put their philosophy into actual practical use.

the best way to shut an anarchist up: who's gonna do the roads and sewers? infrastructure needs government...

it may sound fine, but it is a poorly though-out concept and inherently designed to fail.

In some sense, given my high regard for markets, individual liberty, and collective organization. I don't know about the current movement, as such, however.

Without government to guarantee liberty there is nothing to stop warlords taking everything and enslaving people.

Fine. The road in front of my house will be top-grade fused ferro-crete. The neighbors on either side will likely have dirt (mud when it rains). My 'sewer' will be a series of 500-gallon cisterns coupled to a septic field that drains into a sustainable wetland. My neighbors will likely have chamber-pots that they empty into backyard midden-pits.

All forms of anarchism eventually break down due to exactly what you describe -- sooner or later someone will start dictating their choices, and enforcing those choices with violence. Some will side with the new tyrrant, while the rest will either be enslaved or dead.

Yes, but you argued that the world was simply "might makes right" for most of human history.

Was the ancient world more brutal than the world that we live in today? For the most part, yes it was … but there was still a certain degree of altruism.

As far back as ancient times, there have been people with a "might makes right" attitude, especially in the ruling classes. However, there has never been an entire society based on that sort of Nietzschean machismo. Human nature prevents that from existing.

Might makes right does not mean survival of the fittest. It just means the most powerful most violent gets to make the rules.
