Govt Yellowhammer report released

oddly it is identical to the leaked yellowhammer report from last month but just has the heading 'base scenario' changed to 'worst case planning assumptions'

They didn't even speak to the officials at Calais

Seeing as the option to suspend Parliament has been granted by the High Court Judge, I'm thinking that it was the most obvious solution for the government, in order for cabinet ministers to sit around number 10, and speak seriously, for once, about the initial impact on leaving the E.U. Reprioritising long term internal economic projects is key for the Treasury and so is suspending parliament in order to achieve solutions rather than more problems and unwanted chaos at the borders, with food and supplies, national emergencies, and transport options.

The Treasury briefing documents state: "The Civil Contingencies Secretariat held a two-day workshop last week to
review departments' plans, assumptions, interdependencies and next steps."

If the over-stretched budget, which doesn't include funding more for health, education and defence not to mention the HS2 gigantic ongoing train project which is not going to be finished in the near future, Operation Yellowhammer is nothing but words of a dried up three month pledge on what looked like a four page document on Sky News, which is taking into account rail and aviation services drawn up with the E.U. The reports have said its still early days yet and the official report won't come out yet until official proceedings to leave, have started.

Just looking at point number 13, through the eyes of the Treasury and its report, as following on from ex London mayor B.J, he made the last pledge to improve all police forces by upping their quota, in the ''hundreds of thousands as was his pledge in the leadership campaign, and now it looks like a by quota pushed back just like the current paper trail they are looking at. Could anything be less organised? as for agriculture, its like watching the roll back credits of Watership Down, retiring through a lesser known margin of livestock. I can't think of a better way to tell people than to iron out the laundry before washing it. To me, it is probably to close off ranks on all due diligence citizens, and not mark false hope than at any other time in the countries national history.

It sounds like that In a shocking turn of events that no one could foresee the EU are not going to agree to the abysmal offering that Johnson issued to them.

Angela Merkel says brexit deal unlikely at this point.

Talks entering the final phase as there has been some give from the UK. It's not confirmed what that is but it is widely speculated that with time running out Johnson has given in on the backstop and gone back on what he repeatedly said he would never do - amend the backstop to make it NI only. It's the situation the ERG have called a 'betrayal' in the past yet now may well fall in line and vote for it as power is more important than anything, and time is running out for them.

If all the speculation is correct then we are back to having May's WA but just with a slight tweak on the backstop. Nigel sounds like he is fuming.

This still has to pass the HoC, but if the ERG fall in line, and the DUP take yet another bank transfer to vote for what the Tories want, then with the 'any deal' Labour MP's I think it could pass. Might be pretty close though.

Lots of faux drama around with MP's pretending they are working tirelessly into the small hours on the rehashed May deal today.

Agreement needs to be tonight so that Euro leaders can see it tomorrow, debate it at euro parliament on Thursday, vote for it on friday and if they vote to agree to it then our HoC vote would be on saturday.

ERG sounding like they will vote for it (Mogg said he may end up with egg on his face and eating his own words). Arlene not sounding keen, though she generally does that until she gets the right cash offer.

Johnson is just May on steroids.

If all the reports are correct on what Johnson is asking for, then he has just asked for the deal the EU offered us as their very first offer back in Feb 2018.

The Canada + free trade deal?

It's close to May's deal but with a change to backstop so it covers NI instead of all of UK. It's the deal we were offered at the start and May said it was 'so bad that no British PM could accept it'

Same as Boris saying May's deal would leave us a slave state and then supporting it.

Agreement reached as expected between UK and EU negotiators. EU Parliament need to vote it through by the end of tomorrow and then saturday is all about the HoC. DUO currently saying they won't support it, which would make it hard to get through, but they are flakey as anything and can change their mind like the changing of the wind, if the £££ is correct
