Am I the only one who feels like it's always one step forward and two steps backwards with our country?

Like the fact that we had laws passed to protect endangered elephants from being hunted and now that has been quickly flushed down the toilet.

Or the fact that we have finally legalized gay marriage but certain people are still hellbent on preventing same sex couples from enjoying marriage.

So what's next for this wonderful free country of ours? Changing the laws so that women can't vote and black people have to go back to being subhuman slaves?
