Ezra and I have explained this to you ad nauseum.

a. You appear to get fully subsidized.
b. Most don't.
c. Here is a chart .. using a family of three ... at merely $25,000 household income .. $500 is not subsidized.

Why have sympathy for poor people about the ACA, when you otherwise think all they deserve is a kick in the a$$?

Rich people have insurance. They weren't the ones paying the penalty.

The ACA penalty was siphoning millions of dollars off poor/middle class people.

I care, because it's disgusting to have a law that penalizes people into buying something they may not want, may not need, and may not be able to afford.

What Aunt Blabby said.

Lowest unemployment in a half century.

Dow rises 200 points after unemployment falls to lowest in half century, Amazon leads gains

Stocks rose on Friday, rebounding from a two-day loss, as data showed U.S. job creation was stronger than expected in April.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose about 200 points, while the Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.1% higher and the S&P 500 also gained 0.7%. Shares of Amazon got a boost from an investment by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway.

The U.S. added a robust 263,000 new hires in April while the unemployment rate fell to 3.6%, the lowest since December 1969, according to a Labor Department report Friday. The nonfarm payroll growth far outpaced Wall Street expectations of 190,000 and a 3.8% jobless rate, according to Dow Jones estimates.

“It was definitely a strong number without a doubt,” said Randy Frederick, vice president of trading and derivatives at the Schwab Center for Financial Research. “The average for the last three months has only been around 164,000, so it’s way above that.”

3. ACA mandate eliminated - Yea! This ugly, un-American, disgraceful law was eliminated.

Why is it un-American? What will Trump replace it with?

It forced poor people to pay a $695 fine if they didn't buy health insurance (that they couldn't afford).

How is that any different from penalising them for not paying their taxes?

It's like the expression ...never kick someone when they're down ...

These people can't afford health insurance so lets (kick them) with a $695 penalty.

They got up and voted in Trump who promised to end the penalty.

The poor have to pay a lot of different fees. Why focus on that one in particular? Who else benefits from the end of the ACA?

This was a particularly painful fine because ...

1. You're paying this fine, because you're too poor to afford health insurance (called "adding insult to injury")
2. You got nothing for this.
3. It was entirely due on April 15th. So, all of a sudden, on April 15th, here's a $695 bill due.

Actually, I had to pay the fine the second year and it was $1,500.

Trump seems to have an eye on the censorship by the tech giants. Some interesting retweets from Trump of people who were just purged from Facebook. I hope he follows up from that executive order on the colleges to make them respect free speech and steps in and makes Silicon Valley adhere to the First Amendment. Stop them banning people for "wrongthink". It's a huge slippery slope that needs stopping now while it's still relatively in it's infancy. It's still not really that long since those initial bans on Alex Jones that got this bandwagon rolling. Snuff this out now.

By modern standards Reagan would be considered a RINO (Republican in Name Only).

Let's take a moment to celebrate the accomplishments of Trump's fanbase. Most people would say John 1:14 was about Jesus. However, Trump's supporters have made a theological breakthrough by revealing it was actually about Trump.

This discovery was so important they had to put it on a billboard so that everyone could marvel at their wisdom and theological expertise. Only they can make the Gospel great again, implying it wasn't great already.

(Bonus points for choosing the most flattering photo of Trump they could find)
