Trump's third term.

-a whiter America
-nationalistic pride day (maybe call it "TRUMP day")
-Less "fake news" (anti-Trump news)
-Trump gets his wish for a button to "shut down the internet"
-Trump University becomes a degree worth having

The real question should be how would it be any different than it is now.

Because at the moment we still have the right to choose our president. If Trump succeeds in making himself "President for Life" then it will officially be a dictatorship.

For one, you would not be allowed to post that without an "Internet Access License", which would be issued only after an intensive indoctrination as to the proper definition of "Freedom of Expression".

Even then, your posts would be closely monitored, and your access could be cut off at any

You would probably see a corporate oligarchy instead.

According to something I read about The Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

The White Horse of Conquer represents The Catholic Church.

The Red Horse of War represents Communism.

The Black Horse of Famine represents Capitalism

The Pale Horse of Pestilence rode by Death represents the rise of Islamic Terrorism.

I know that's random, but it fits in with the idea of a "Corporate Oligarchy"

I think I might actually LIKE the concept of an "Internet Access License" I miss the days of having to know something about the use of computers to get to the internet. As for freedom of expression, I don't think that would be much different. At least in the sense that postings can be removed now if they don't meet with the approval of those who own or operate whatever board or service we might be posting on.

It would also help speed up service.

Poor people who can't afford a $250 monthly license fee would be off the internet.

Oh, there would be fake licenses, forged signatures, "borrowed" access, "hot-wired" terminals, and so forth. Just as Prohibition stimulated the evolution of organized crime in America, so too would restricted Internet access.

I expect:
White nationalism to the degree of mass deportation or concentration on reservations of non-white Americans. Whites would be encouraged to have more babies, while non-whites would be penalized for reproducing.
Restriction of freedom of speech and press, replaced with state media exulting the state and Dear Leader.
Heavy emphasis on fundamentalist/evangelical Christianity by the state, perhaps at the expense of other theologies.
Science would be tailored to fit with the state's narrative.
The arts would exist only to exult the state and Dear Leader.
Repressive laws and draconian punishments would be portrayed as "American liberty." American fascism would never stray far from at least the veneer of American free government and history, even if it's been reduced to a shell.
Treason would be defined as criticism of the state and the Dear Leader.
Etc, etc, etc.
I fear we may be already heading in that direction.

Perhaps the only thing that can stop it is if other countries unite to kick our asses like they did Nazi Germany during World War 2? Just a thought...
