This whole Russia/Trump narrative has been completely debunked and yet there are those who can't let it go.

Debunked?

American intelligence agencies determined Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help trump win.

Trump has had multiple private meetings with Putin - no one else present - that’s strange for a potus.

There’s plenty of info out there to suggest trump was laundering money for Russian mobsters via his properties. And also possibly that they own him via loaning him $ when no one else would.

Far too much actual evidence that Russia interfered in the election And that trump has conflicts of interest with Russians to be “debunked.” The only people that say it’s a hoax are trump and his campaign - surprise surprise.

Then there’s trump making geopolitical moves with the US military in ways that benefit Russia. And on and on. There is something going on between these two men beyond their job descriptions.

My understanding of this was more Khrushchev speaking as a communist and not a Russian. Along the lines of his "We will bury you" quote. That is, he means more that even without war, the rise of [insert left philosophy here] is inevitable regardless of whether war breaks out. Nikita did not mean that they would bury capitalists after killing them, but burying them after society collectively moves on and the ideology dies out.

Putin, however, is not so much motivated by ideology as he is by manipulating geopolitics to Russia's advantage. He would be attempting to destroy American liberal democracy (as long as it benefits Russia), while Khrushchev wanted to destroy American capitalism (tho I don't think he was terribly concerned about what happened to American democracy in the process).

Just because the Republican dominated senate refused to acknowledge the evidence presented during the impeachment hardly means anything was debunked. It just means the senate Republicans are Trump's yes men.

Considering Trump's past record prior to reaching the White House - running a fraudulent university, defrauding his own charity for kids with cancer (there's a special place in Hell for people like that), allowing the Russian mob to launder money out of his properties, etc, etc, - I'd say it's a no-brainer that Trump set the stage for being the most corrupt American President ever.

No one who followed any of trump’s impeachment could possibly believe that.
