Actually, from reading the Wiki article linked above, there is actually a loophole. That being via the office of Speaker of the House. A president who completes two elected terms (or one elected, and one unelected but longer than two year term), could, in theory, stay active in politics after that last term, and win a seat in Congress, and from there get appointed as Speaker of the House. Thus putting him/her third in succession in an emergency. So if both the then POTUS and his VP get abducted by space aliens in their common first week in office then our hypothetical Speaker would become POTUS (once again after serving 8 years as that already). And then there doesnt seem to be a clear legal bar against the person serving a whole four year term unelected.
