That was what I initially thought, too, but having re-read the topic heading, coupled with the initial post, it does not appear that this was the case...

It's a brave new world in November whether he wins or not. Half of the country is going be 'upset' regardless of the outcome.

^Pretty much, our country seems screwed regardless of who wins the next election, IF we even have another election.

When foreign nations that qualify for "Third-World" status become so attractive that record numbers of American citizens are willing to surrender their citizenship to live in those foreign nations, people at the top should realize that they've really screwed things up and that they should resign whatever positions to which they've been elected or appointed.

Yeah ... that's gonna happen ... like, never ...

The thing is a lot of these 'third world countries' really are not as horrible as the American propaganda machine has brainwashed us into thinking they are. The system wants us to believe that the rest of the world is such a horrible evil place that would steal our precious 'freedom' from us when the reality is that unless you're wealthy and white you really don't have that much 'freedom' here in the USA.

I've realized this after watching Tangerine Travels on YouTube about an American couple that has moved to Mexico and they love it it there.

Another nice thing (and this is a major plus) is that nobody there comes down on me for being autistic when I commit a social gaffe.  Instead, they just tell me what I did (or said), explain why it's not "nice", and then we all have a good laugh about the silly things Americans do in foreign countries -- I am just another American to them, and my ASD traits don't matter!

People here in the US are quick to judge about everything. It'd be nice to get away from all that.

But if i end up stuck in the US after the SHTF all I can do is try to survive I guess.

I will not be able to go back to normal. Most of the entertainment I enjoyed has been ruined by knowing too much about the people who made it. I have not been able to interact with people very well because today’s PC culture is not forgiving of my differences. There’s no place for me anymore, and that’s too bad because I enjoy helping others. I used to, anyway.

I’ll keep keeping to myself.

After they started censoring movies and shows on Streaming Apps in the name of political correctness it makes me glad to still own a bluray player and a few movies.
