I had this idea while laying in bed last night (Maybe its a dumb idea). The question is:

If you're voting in November (or if you could vote for you non-Americans) do you like the person you're voting for (personal character/public image)? If not, what reasons are you voting for them?

A rule to make this a little interesting, you're not allowed to say what person you're voting for (though some may be able to easily guess).

I don't think I'll actually get to vote, but for the person I would vote for. No I don't particularly like him, while he may be the lesser of two evils I think he's a very weak opponent and possibly suffers dementia. But I could say the same for the other guy. Honestly I think both these candidates should be retired and living in nursing homes, not trying to become president of the USA. Why do Americans always pick old white dudes to try and lead this country anyways?

I'm more in favor of voting for China as they take over the world. Hey if I'm gonna be a sycophant I might as well choose the side that has the strongest chance for world domination, right?

I'm registered to vote in Florida but I moved back home to Georgia. I'd have to register to vote here in Georgia but my Mom has been too busy and too sick to do a lot of driving so she can't drive me to get registered. I'm unable to drive myself.

I just don't think I'll get the chance. :(

Doesn't it cost money though? And I'm sure it requires additional information for me to register. Honestly I would need my Mom's help to do that because I wouldn't have a clue. I might suggest it to her though so thanks for the link. :)

Know that I can't vote in US elections.
Anyway, if I could vote, I would look at the candidates' political views.
Naturally, I'd have a hard time voting for someone I truly disliked.
Yet, I notice that these two views currently converge for me.
Even so, I also noticed the following:

2 candidates are realistic contenders for the Presidency.
0 candidates can change the fact that the US is deeply polarized.
2 months from now we hopefully know who won the election.
0 f**** will be given about who I might/might not vote for.

I may not be the smartest person in the world, but it doesn't take much intelligence to see that the vote of one little person doesn't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world.

Frankly I think in this world the biggest sociopaths always come out on top just as long as they have a lot of money and powerful connections. This world is not a happy place for those of us who actually have a conscience. :|
