Africa? No Way! Africa lived for thousands of centuries in total peace and harmony with a reverence for science, nature and diversity until the Europeans came and destroyed it all! :D

Typical imperialist apologist rhetoric, justifying genocide and destruction just because the people colonized and exploited weren't perfect

Look at how Europe struggled to implement rule of law, was torn by ethnic strife, etc. All the same arguments for why everyone else deserved it are just as applicable.

I propose different criteria. The more powerful someone is, the more they deserve to be colonized :3

When I learnt what the Amerians did to the Germans after the war, I felt the same disgust.
eisenhauer's death camps and man-made famines?
If it wasn't for the communist threat, germany would have been de-industrialised which would have meant millions of Germans wouldn't have been able to feed themselves and die.

eisenhauser was a German hater of the worst degree, but people don't talk about that mass murder's deeds either.

And here is a cheerful picture of what the marines were up to in the Pacific islands:

They made up for the previously benign existence:

Quote:
Shaka's reign coincided with the start of the Mfecane/Difaqane ("Upheaval" or "Crushing"), a period of devastating warfare and chaos in southern Africa between 1815 and about 1840 that depopulated the region. His role in the Mfecane/Difaqane is highly controversial. He was ultimately assassinated by his half brothers Dingane and Mhlangana.

Quote:
The Rwandan genocide[3] occurred between 7 April and 15 July 1994 during the Rwandan Civil War.[4] During this period of around 100 days, members of the Tutsi minority ethnic group, as well as some moderate Hutu and Twa, were slaughtered by armed militias. The most widely accepted scholarly estimates are around 500,000 to 800,000 Tutsi deaths.[5] Estimates for the total death toll (including Hutu and Twa victims) are as high as 1,100,000.[2]

And these days, visit Africa at your own risk. 8O

Those who think it is only the whiteys who are disgusting human filth need to think again, or they will be labelled Vaadwaur. 8)

that may be because most historians think those never happened. as far as I know, there's just one book on this and it's highly disputed.
hard to make a judgment on this, 75 years later, with poor documentation and no whitnesses making any accusations at all.

Some people deny the Holocaust ever happened. 8)

There is a documented plan for poisoning the water supply of large German cities, with the intention of murdering millions of men, women and children, indiscriminately.
It was decided that a man-made famine, with Red Cross food parcels left on the trains to rot and denying prisoners of war the designation of P.O.W so the Geneva Convention rulz didn't have to be adhered to, was a better way to go. 8)

I use life experience, critical thinking skills, and my knowledge of human psychology. 8)

'An Eye for an Eye': The Jews Who Sought to Poison Six Million Germans to Avenge the Holocaust

yes, there were those plans.
but my grandparents all were Nazis. one of my grandfathers was a POW in Russia at the age of 16. But I have never heard anyone - in person or in the media - speak about the Americans treating Germans particularly badly. Not even the Neo-Nazis, who both deny the Holocaust and simultaneously say the bombing of Dresden was just as bad.
Quite literally the only source of this claim is a contested book I stumbled across on the internet one day.

I think relying on one's experience of human psychology is an inadequate approach to determine historical events like the supposed murder of up to a million people. I demand some less contingent indicators.

Quote:
Morgenthau wanted not only subdivide Germany into smaller parts, he wanted to wreck all of its industrial capabilities. In order to keep Germans from making armaments, he wanted to keep them from making anything at all. Industrial facilities were to be destroyed, mines were to be wrecked and filled, experts in production and manufacturing would be forcibly removed from the region and put to work elsewhere. Germany was going to become an agrarian state, set back almost a thousand years.

An investigation by Herbert Hoover concluded the plan would result in up to 25 million Germans starving to death. From 1947, US policies aimed at restoring a "stable and productive Germany" and were soon followed by the Marshall Plan.

yes, I know of the Morgenthau plan and of the Soviets being the sole reason the Americans picked the Marshall plan instead.
But you need more of an Eisenhower quote as a source for the claim of a the Americans killing a million German POWs in concentration camps.
Reason prohibits connecting these dots.

the only historical claim about Eisenhower being responsible for any reasonable amount of deaths is some book that claims a million Germans might have been starved by the Americans after the war. It is highly disputed.
In all other accounts, a few thousand died, hardly justifying calling Eisenhower a mass murderer, given the situation.
