I wonder how many of those tens of millions actually have original opinions on the man, vs simply regurgitating what they've been told about him?
Good queestion - and an example of critical thinking.

It's the same with Joe Rogan, I know full well that the vast majority of people who complain about him aren't sitting down to watch his 3 hour plus interviews, they're just going off of news coverage that snips bits and pieces out of context in order to make one point or another, and they never question if they're actually getting the full story or not. Being informed takes effort, and sometimes that means blocking out a chunk of time to listen to someone that many write off as crazed or conspiratorial in order to make up your own mind.

Yep. News nowadays is spliced & diced to create a completely false narrative in all of the mainstream media channels. Which is why people like Joe Rogan are so successful - people can smell the truth on some level. Many people, anyway. Some are oblivious.

Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder which means the characteristics can appear quite early after birth (such as eye contact).
There is no firm link between brain injury and autism and Alex Jones is the last person on the planet I would take medical advice from.

So, people shouldn't have negative opinions about a serial liar who denies that innocent children had been murdered in school shootings, and that the grieving parents were just "crisis actors?" That alone makes him irredeemably an object of hate in my book. Then there's the horses**t he's been spreading about the Covid19 vaccine being dangerous, and that Trump had had the election stolen from him.

How else can someone legitimately view that idiot blowhard?

I just can't see the appeal of a guy like Jones who spouts an endless stream of $hit. He's so full of it his eyes must be brown.

Current scientific opinion is that Autism has no direct link to vaccination but encephalopathy is linked to vaccination (as a possible side effect) - and encephalopathy can cause Autism. Allow me to explain in short.
Proven: Vaccination > encephalopathy > Autism.
Not proven Vaccination > Autism.

I mean it's possible that some people with autism experience some form of TI to the brain but gene switching (both prenatal and epigenetic) is known to be linked with changes in brain function typical of autism and in some cases slowed development.

Not what I said, I said if they want to form a strong opinion, they should go listen to the clip in question and draw their own conclusions rather than relying on being told by others what was said; let me guess, you've never actually listened to him, have you?

In Australia we have a segment of the population who listen to every word from Tucker Carlson/Alex Jones types on radio/TV. Unfortunately they fulfill a need in the population.

I actually had listened a bit, years ago, before he took a total slide off the edge of sanity. Today, I wouldn't waste my time and attention with him.

But you feel you are entitled to have an opinion about a man you admit to not listening to. How do you know what you hear about him is accurate?

Because clips of his show have been played where he had made his indefensible statements. Please don't try telling me they might have been tampered with, as the families he had slandered in the school shooting won their civil case against that snake oil salesman.

You mean something like Stephen Colbert on Comedy Central did before he did The Late Show? That's funny. Colbert was just pretending to be a right wing nut. And yet I know people who didn't realize he was pretending.

Clips. Cut by someone trying to tell a particular story.
