PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. -- The residents of a Broward County mobile home park who are facing eviction held a rally on Sunday.  Back in March, every resident at the park received a notice of eviction and were told they would have to be gone in 30 days.  The land is owned by Trinity Broadcasting Network, a Christian organization.

A day later, it was claimed that the eviction notices were a “misunderstanding.” Eviction is not now on the table.

This was on 3/25/2022 in an article written in the same paper, by the same person.

I guess this publicity worked out for the benefit, so far, of the trailer park residents.

I’ll have to see if there’s been a resolution to this as of now.

According to an article dated May 03, 2022, the eviction process is still on.

Hundreds of Pembroke Park residents, many of them low-income seniors, are facing eviction from their RVs and mobile homes by their landlord, which bills itself as the largest Christian Television Network worldwide.  Residents of the mobile home park are facing eviction by Trinity Broadcasting which owns the park.

The televangelism group, which has listed in tax records assets of more than $750 million, is considered the world’s largest Christian television network, with 24-hour programming for evangelicals.
