Curious. Never really thought about where the USA might stick that guy after he gets convicted.

Home arrest because he's too old and unhealthy for regular jail?
Minimum security country club style jail because he's an old (supposedly) rich white guy?
Maximum security due to flight risk and/or breakout attempts by MAGA people?
Military prison because he was the commander in chief at the time of (some) of his crimes?

Or will he serve time in multiple places as they ship him around the country/state to state to serve time for crimes he's convicted of in multiple jurisdictions? Or no, that's unlikely, even if he's convicted all over the map someone's going to get exclusive rights to jailing him for the rest of his natural life because the US legal system has a hierarchy like that?

Or some other type of jail for some other reason ? :?

Club Fed

The Federal Correctional Institute in Cumberland, Maryland is the go-to for white-collar Washington criminals.  Disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff and former Clinton administration official Webb Hubbell served time at Cumberland.

One top D.C. defense attorney said his clients describe Cumberland as a "boys dormitory" with food that is "nothing to write home about".  It has a commissary (where canned tuna -- which, oddly, is used as a kind of currency in the camp -- is sold) and a bare-bones fitness facility.  The biggest perk, though, is that prisoners tend to be on their best behavior for fear of being sent somewhere rougher.  "Nothing bad happens to you there", said the attorney.

If he’s sickly he will go here.

He can choose off his snacks off the commissary list.

It was good enough for the “ Dapper Don”, so it’s good enough for this Don.

I'm not yet confident of this outcome. :(

Good chance it’ll be the whitehouse.
Hey, it’s him or Desantis.

Has he actually been formally charged with a crime to date? It seems unlikely that anything will stick if he is charged and convicted.

Again, presidents don't pay for their crimes. Not gonna happen, folks. Not gonna happen.

Not for war crimes, obvi, but this is different.. he led and attack on the US gov’t and tried to overthrow it and end American democracy. That’s kind of a big deal and worthy of different treatment.. like jail time.
