There are plenty of false convictions, of just about every crime. Most people cannot afford a defense lawyer, and public defenders are notoriously overworked.

Are you familiar with the "Satanic Ritual Abuse" scare of the 1980's? In today's political climate, there is good reason to fear a revival of same.

I don’t believe this is the best way of PREVENTING child sex abuse, but I think it helps.

Even without hypothetical advanced technology, there might be better ways to PREVENT child sex abuse.

I think this is an important question to think about. The present approach is unacceptably inhumane.

Onlyfans and Tinder have both been accused of not supporting victims of their platforms. Men who have raped female users on tinder have been able to setup fake accounts so its impossible to trace them. It's likely many are repeat offenders. Both platforms simply claim they abide the government regulations as an excuse to not actively work with police to track and trace offenders.

I'm not familiar enough with Tinder or Onlyfans to comment knowledgeably on the specifics of what you wrote here.

But, in general, it seems to me that holding large online platforms accountable is one important means of both catching sex abusers and preventing sex abuse in the first place. It's far from a complete solution to the problem, but it would certainly help.

I think that platform sucks anyway.

It provides younger girls with the illusion they can shake their bottoms in front of a camera and make thousands of dollars and get millions of followers. The problem is once you do this it becomes easy to dox your location and there are creepy men who end up being stalkers.

Oh it's a real problem for young women. There was a documentary I watched where there were hundreds of women getting hookups with men who were violent or raped them or stole their personal property. They use fake IDs so it's impossible to trace them.

Another issue is catfishing. A lot of men post doctored images of themselves. A famous case here in Australia is where an Indian man posted a cosplay character with long blonde hair. The girl who was also into cosplay asked him to turn up to his apartment in outfit which obsured who he really was. Instead of whom she thought he was (a 20 year old dude with long blond hair) he ended up being a middle aged Indian man with a pot belly in a cosplay outfit and wig. The girl was assaulted but fortunately the man was caught. His lawyer tried to claim the sex was consensual because apparently the girl couldn't make out who he was under the costume. I believe he wasn't charged.

But if they have paid accounts, don't they have to use a credit card, which would enable them to be traced?

If so, one obvious safety measure would be to make it clear on the site who has a paid account and who has a free account. All members would be advised that the paid accounts are a safer bet, for the reason mentioned above.

Do any dating sites do this? (I've never used a dating site, so I have no way of knowing this.)

There was a woman who opened a onlyfans page on her 18th bday and men who knew her had been waiting for it when she became legal. This struck criticism.

IMO, you're consenting to all this when you open an account on an adult website. You are consenting to being objectfied and men sexualizing you. This does not include stalking and harrassment. Men are her customers and must show her respect like how we show store owners respect when we shop in their store.

The first problem is the women don't report the incident to police. Most of them report the incident to the platform who do reportedly do nothing

That presumes an underaged girl can legally consent. There are literally millions of teenage girls selling their bodies around the world and while many are coerced against their will many are voluntarily selling themselves. According to psychologists they are not old enough to understand what damage they are doing to their mental health (not to mention the potential medical issues down the track).

In the specific message you replied to just now, League_Girl was NOT talking about an underage girl. You edited out the relevant part of what she wrote:

Yes and this is certainly a real and very serious problem, but a separate issue from what League_Girl was talking about in the message you quoted.

How do men know who is underage? There are even women out there over 18 that look like literal children like Asians for example because of youthful appearances they have longer. Men out there who like youthful appearances may seek out these models. Can they unknowingly coerce a minor if they ask if she will do customs?

One thing out there that teens and newly adults out there may not understand is once you put yourself out there, your face can be plastered all over the internet because people like to steal content and post it on other websites where they have a bunch of stolen content and they use 3rd websites where they store the files like fileboom. Thisvid has a bunch of stolen content and they all tend to be privated videos where only friends can see them to avoid DMCA takedowns.

Older models understand this is the risk and know this will always happen and it's part of doing porn. But real buyers will always buy your content and those who try and get it for free were not going to buy it anyway. I have had fans get upset about me using masks. I don't want my face plastered all over the internet.

I see radical feminists wanting porn to be made illegal for these reasons but what about women out there that do choose to do these things because they want to make some extra money or they need money and a supplement income so they sell themselves online and make content. And it's not easy money, you have to promote yourself out there so people know you exist and then you do a Onlyfans page. These women are going to realize fast that when they open their OF page, it's not all easy to get thousands of dollars from their content and in fact they will get very little for it and they will still need a job.

Maybe they need to raise the adult age to 21 perhaps for porn. There is a reason why drinking age is 21 and some states require you to be 21 now to buy tobacco products and cigarettes' and you even need to be 21 to rent a car and gamble and be in bars in most states.

Put it this way, you join a website or a forum, you are agreeing to the terms for it. It's the same with adult websites, you are consenting to their terms. If you are a minor, you are violating their terms and anyone who feels the person looks underage, report the page to the website and they will investigate. I know Fetlife takes this very seriously. They don't want to get in trouble or get sued by the parents. I wonder why adult clubs haven't gotten sued for their failure to check IDs or failure to hire someone to spot fake IDs. Parents should be suing them than going after the person who had sex with their underage child because they used fake ID and they can pass off as an 18 year old because early puberty. Or because the child dressed themselves up and wore make up to look mature to pass as an 18 year old.

My mom didn't want me wearing certain clothes at a young age because she didn't want me to look 18 and have grown men hitting on me thinking I am that old because early puberty.

This has been going on since at least the 1970s. When I was in highschool almost all the "popular" girls snuck into licenced venues, pubs and bars to watch a band. Back in those days venues didn't check ID but they could ask for evidence if you looked too young. I don't know what nunbers sneak in nowadays but I'm guessing it's a lot. There's a big business in fake IDs and operators of these venues only do the necessary cursory checks particularly since women bring in a lot of business so often get in for free when there is a cover charge for men.

A judge was smart to bend the laws for this young fella. The girl's mom testified and stood up for him and her daughter was remorseful. Zach looks like a kid because he is 20.

https://www.cnn.com/videos/justice/2015 ... ips-nr.cnn

They didn't say how old the girl is but given how young he looks, how us he going to know she isn't 17? They didn't say her age and I don't know the consent laws in Indiana buf I assume they have no Romeo and juliet laws.

Good for the judge and the mom.

Emanuel and Brigitte Macron.

He was 15, she -39.

He shouldn't have been allowed a career in Politics based on that fact alone.
Yes, she was the perpetrator, they married etc.
but we don't need to downplay what took place

How many underaged people are signing up on legit porn sites? You know people need to provide proof of AoM to sell content, typically their ID.
