I thought you also like kids who are bullies and wear inflammatory hats?
I'm sure you'd vote for little cowards like Rittenhouse and Sandmann

I’ve never seen anybody wear a MAGA hat…and I live in a city with 9 million people.

I’ve seen them worn by people who aren’t likely to frequent cities…

I want them to go Karen.
That’s the whole point.

I wouldn't give two craps....

Because I KNOW that America has always been GREAT......I don't need a stupid hat to reinforce this fact.

How do you “KNOW” that?

Greatness is a subjective concept. I don’t think America was ever “great.” In general, I’d give it a solid “good.”

I believe it's "great" in many ways. With many caveats that must be corrected. Probably, over all, a "solid good," though.

The implication of MAGA, I believe, is that America was "greatest" before something like the New Deal "liberalized" America.

Great, yes, but with room for improvement in ways we would never agree on.

The thing with the hat is the way some on the left view it as some kind of nazi symbol. No way I can respect that kind of nuttyness.

I have issues with the slogan because I don’t think the US (not “America” ) was ever great. I don’t think that Trump has made things better or will make things better at any point in the future.

The slogan is anti-intellectual.

The whole point of "making America great again" is to annoy city people?

Interesting. Can you expand the idea? How to achieve greatness this way?

It is true that "America" actually encompasses the entire Western Hemisphere.

Colloquially, though, throughout the world, "America" is an acceptable term for the US.
