This topic still pisses me off. I don't know why I'm replying.

But...

We wouldn't have three right-wing hacks on the Supreme Court. Roe v. Wade would still be intact. My rights as an LGBT person would not be in jeopardy because of an increasingly right-wing federal court system.

I still hold a grudge against everybody who didn't vote for her.

I don't mind making your sh*t list. She was a crappy candidate, so saying I should have voted for her certainly puts you on mine. 8)

If you're unsatisfied then produce a better candidate or run for office yourself.

If that smug, my-shit-don't-stink attitude keeps you up at night while people's lives are being f****d over, then by all means...

How about showing a little empathy? Elections have f***ing consequences.

Can I just say that Hillary is just another neoliberal who's more than well prepared to bend over to the American Oligarchy?

You absolutely can.

If you think about it, Hillary is the war hawk of the 21st Century. She would have started a war. Canada would have been in the middle of it. The war would have been centered in North America. Who would be the first person who would be clueless enough to fight for Canada? Me.

We'd have had a war with Russia, over Syria. We'd have kicked their asses, but we'd have been in the wrong. Again. And hundreds of thousands more people would be dead. We'd have had an energy crisis at the same time we had COVID. We'd still be occupying Afghanistan, and we'd be occupying Syria in a big way, and Saudi Arabia would have turned on us six years ago. Turkey would be advocating against us within NATO, or would have left NATO.

Or we might all be dead.

You're not the only one who has rights riding on these elections, I'm just a little bit more prepared to do something in defense of mine beyond trying to guilt trip people online about their political choices.

Encountering people who don't seem to give a damn about how their voting choices affect others puts me in a mood. My bad...

You don't seem willing to recognize that your prefferences are not the only ones in play when it comes to voting, that other people might have different priorities than you do, and they're not obligated to put your wants and needs before their own.

If the Republicans controlled Congress they would have impeached her.

That seems to be standard procedure for both parties these days.

I still think a lot of people voted for Trump because they couldn't stand the idea of a female president.

As for third party, indie, or write-ins, people say they took votes away from HRC. Yet they also took votes away from Trump. Plus HRC did win the popular vote.
