https://theancientzen.com/experts-claim ... -of-years/

Not the first time I've read/seen/heard something like this. Plus it's been the subject of movies, probably some sci-fi books. The article touches on a few things I recall hearing about.. something about Sumerian tablets, Alpha Centauri etc. Maybe total BS, maybe not.. interesting, though.

Dr. Ellis Silver is an ecologist and environmentalist, originally from Wisconsin, USA.  He holds a doctorate in limnology (the study of lakes and other inland water ecosystems).  For many years, he was the co-director of a private marine research facility in Texas, until it was destroyed by Hurricane Ike.  He now spends most of his time on boats in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, with occasional forays to Indonesia.

He is passionate about cleaning up the world's oceans, not only from plastics but from other chemical pollutants too.  He loves wind turbines but hates solar panels.

He is fascinated by our human origins, has amassed a wealth of alleged "evidence" which he says proves humans could not possibly have evolved on Earth, and he further claims to have had the privilege of meeting one extraterrestrial and one alien-human hybrid -- neither of which he had expected to meet, and he curses his luck that he didn't have a camera with him.

So, what we have here is an ecologist/environmentalist/limnologist making absurd claims that would make Erich Anton Paul von Dänikenen jealous (remember "Chariots of the Gods"?).

So this really is the wrong planet!

What an amazing coincidence that alien beings can breed with us!

Too bad the "expert" isn't a biologist.

I wonder how he guessed the aliens come from Alpha Centuri. I bet he hasn't even been there.

Furthermore, as stated by Robert Sepher, contemporary DNA sequencing shows that mankind as we know it is a mixed species, with a much more cryptic reality underlying it all, rather than simply ONE single ‘race’ that descended from the same progenitor in Africa.

Notice how he didn't say "mixed with aliens". He probably meant mixed from different types of hominid.

Isn't quoting scientists out of context a wonderful hobby?

How do we know aliens even have DNA? They might have something else. That would make breeding with them really difficult.

Imagine for a moment supposing humans had to revert to the forest and find a way to thrive there. The majority of them would not survive for a very long time, according to several specialists.

Which specialists? Humans have been living in forests for tens of thousands of years, along with many other types of environment.

Since prehistoric man settled many different types of environment on six continents while the panda only adapted to one very specific type of environment, perhaps we are better adapted for earth then the Panda.

We can eat things from every continent on earth and the ocean too while the panda can only eat one type of thing from earth.

Seems like pandas are less adapted to life on earth than we are. Maybe pandas are the real aliens!

Other life forms add to their genetic makeup by absorbing genes/DNA from other life.. like the tardigrade and other extremophiles. So, even if aliens didn't bone with neanderthals, it may be biologically possible for complex forms of life to merge.

He didn't guess that they came from Alpha Centauri. That stuff has been written about for ages. It comes from some inscriptions on the Sumerian Tablets that basically show a star map of AC and what some suggest are beings coming from there.

All of this, written by him, written by others before him, could all be 100% pure science fiction daydreamer wishful thinking. But, it's also kinda neat to think that maybe, just maybe, there's some truth to it.. I mean, we now Know vs. just speculate that space rocks dropping down from the sky have seeded the Earth with building blocks of life that then combined and evolved into all kinds of things.. so, who's to say more complex advanced forms of life never swung by for a visit?

You never know.....but my instincts tell me not to believe in anything but the conventional evolution of life here on Earth.....that originated here on Earth.

Yet actual real world scientific analysis tells us that the building blocks of life on Earth have been seeded here by falling meteorites. So, what "originated," here on Earth may not have exactly entirely originated here when you go back far enough in time.

I dunno why, but this has always made sense to me. Space rocks fall and smash into the Earth and oceans all the time.. why wouldn't they be adding to the soup mix here?

I guess it depends upon the conditions which were extant from the originating place of those meteorites….and how resilient these “building blocks of life” were within the conditions of the passage from that other locale to Earth.

There are life forms which are quite resilient under extreme conditions—but no “higher forms” of life are very resilient at all.

Dude...dead matter falling to earth that billions of years latter became 'the building blocks of life' is not the same thing as what you're talking about. you're talking about fully evolved intelligent creatures piloting space craft to earth in relatively recent (geologically speaking) times after life itself had fully evolved, and then somehow interbreeding with humanlike human ancestors.

For a putative 'little green man' from Alpha Centuri to breed with an earth human would be like a human trying to mate with an oak tree. Except it would be more difficult than that. Because a human is closer genetically to an oak tree than to any alien life form.

And where is this 'alien dna'? We are 98.5 percent the same genetically as chimps, and seventy percent the same as a fungus. We are clearly akin to other terrestrial life forms. Its not as if we are genetically fifty percent ...not of earth.

Aliens hybridizing with us doesnt seem plausible. But conceivably aliens might have picked an ape species and bred them to become human via manipulating our own DNA- like we breed cattle. But why they would do that is beyond me.

Goldfish,

As a fellow Canadian, please stop being crazy.

As others have already explained, billion year old space rocks with dead matter on them, are not at all comparable or connected in anyway to aliens coming down and interbreeding with humans.

Please learn better critical thinking skills, and how to evaluate sources. Don't believe everything you read on the internet, people can publish anything on the internet regardless of if it's true or not, sane or not, or if they are qualified or not.
