The point of living is to have lots and lots of sex and eat lots and lots of good food and drink alcohol and party all night. Oh and to f*ck until dawn...

Disagree.
There is no INHERENT meaning in life.
We are the effect of a cosmic accident.
Simply another form of animal as a result of the evolutionary process.
It makes no difference whether humanity does or doesn't exist.
Wishing for something doesn't make it so. 8)

about now , i wonder if Monty Python did a movie about things in Life , Called the Meaning of Life.
Perhap an Aide to existential Nihilism ? 8O

But all YOU can do is to try to have a good life.

The purpose of our biological programming is to procreate and perpetuate life.

The obvious literal purpose of life is to reproduce. Anything that did not reproduce is no longer here unless it is not living like a rock. Hence, the difference between life and a rock. Life reproduces. A rock doesn’t.

I guess the next question could be whose purpose is that? The answer to that is not necessarily needed to answer the first question. Even religion does not answer it so why bother asking it?

Personally, I find life pleasant. I see nothing wrong with bringing people into it. I have happy genes so most likely my offspring would be happy.

What is the purpose of a hammer? The purpose of a hammer is to hammer because that is what it does.

What is the purpose of a knife? The purpose of a knife is to cut because that is what it does.

etc…., etc….

Agreed.
Existentialism embraces the concept of CREATING a SENSE of meaning.
We, as individuals, infuse meaning in a life system where there is no intrinsic meaning.

"Evolution favours foolishness."
