They were right that facism would come wrapped in the american flag idk who they is exactly in this context but someone said it and seems like they weren't wrong.

There is an anarchy in the U.K song, so where is the Fascism in the U.S.A song? I know though it is the christofasicts making things this way, hopefully they loose hardcore in the 2024 election.

Simple.

They think whites, Christians, and men are being persecuted and "replaced".

They think CRT = "white people are the cause of all the world's problems and should be treated as subhuman"

They think LGBT rights = "Christians are being oppressed, and will no longer be allowed to say that homosexuality is a sin". They also think pedophiles will use the "born this way" reasoning to gain equal rights and legalization, and then Christians would be "oppressed" if they spoke out against pedophilia.

They think any non-MAGA ideology = Socialism. And their fear of it is on the level of the old 50s "Red Menace" mindset, where "KGB agents are hiding under our beds and popping out of our toilets."

They think gun control and abortion = emasculation.

The biggest issue is that you give disproportionate representation to people in rural communities, via a gerrymandered House, a Senate with a heavy rural skew, and the electoral college. This even ends up affecting the Supreme Court, where presidents pandering to rural interests get to pick most justices.

The USA is not a fascist country, the corporations in power outsource jobs to foreigners and immigrants, this is well known in the economics community that the USA Navy bends over backwards to ensure trade globalization, at the expense of USA workers. The USA Navy has bent over backwards to ensure the safekeeping of poor nations trade routes so that poor countries are able to export and import.

Europe has far less freedom than the USA.

Gun control is emasculation and abortion is murder. It is also female masculinization.

Gun control is anti-Marxism. Marx was heavily in favor of gun rights.

For far too long we have let the GOP dominate and speak on our behalf and they continue to muddy up issues.

Prisons are unconstutional and for far too long we have let corporate traitors give the impression that America is not a free country. America was always intended to be a free country and not a police state with the highest prison population in the world where many cops do not even know the laws. For far too long we have let corporate traitors mold america into a slavish wagecuck cult panopticon with prudish evangelical values and mandatory education. All of which is unconstitutional and against the laws of America.

Seems like a loose choice of words to call America fascist. It is like calling Jan 6 an insurrection. My conclusion is there must be poor education in non rural areas. They should focus on reading, writing and arithmetic in the cities. They should hire some counselors and ship them in from rural areas. I sure hope the fascists are voted out of office. It makes me want to buy more bullets.

If rural schools don’t get more funding and better teachers it will never change.
The schools in rural areas here are a joke and a shame.

Pretty much. I work in one of them.

Most people in rural areas can tell you what is fascist and what is not. They can tell you what an insurrection looks like.

An insurrection involves guns and an attempt to overthrow the government …. not pushing there way into a building as an unorganized mob. Cuba had an insurrection. We did not.

It is totally asinine not to acknowledge that no matter someone’s political association. I have none. I just know stupid when I see it.

Unless you have the $$$ to send your kid to a good private school.

What is it when a woman dies because she needs an abortion and can't get one? just collateral damage?

I don't see how people can value something that hasn't even developed into a person yet over very much alive people living lives. Why should a pregnant persons life not matter? People shouldn't be forced to be incubators against their will that is torture.

Also how is gun control emasculation? If anything it is simply reasonable to have regulations on guns. I don't think they should be totally banned but there are certainly people who should not be allowed to own guns.

Perhaps Christian Nationalism would be a better term for what the MAGAs/GOP is trying to push for. But that is not exactly a step up from fascism.

It doesn't matter what you call them, their end goal is to impose the societal norms from a highly romanticized version of the 1950s on the whole country. All the "problems" they crow on and on about were there back then as well. It isn't like they began the moment school-sanctioned prayers ended, or when we allowed the word "pregnant" to be aired on TV.

I’m ok with people killing their own fetuses. I think in some bizarro world where I had to be the doctor I would involve the women in the procedure to make me feel better about.

It would make a hilarious SNL skit. So you definitely want me to kill it? Ok, I’ve got it’s neck in the forceps. On the count of three, tigether now, one, two, three, snap. Ok, we did it. Now we got to get her out. Here is viewing box for you to see the damage. It is required that you sign off that the baby is no longer moving. Here are the options for the disposal. That will be $50 for my assistance.

As far as gun control being emasculation. It isn’t. That is just someone’s inagination. I’ve got an imagination too … but mine is based in reality.

Same reasons authoritarians have historically gained power.

Economic dislocation.

Wide gaps between rich and poor.

Rapid disorienting change.

Politicians that are both good at exploiting the above and ruthless in dealing with political enemies.

Try doing a Google search for "collective narcissism". It will explain so much.
This is an article I found from a UK psychologist.

https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.117 ... 1420917703

I was taken aback by how universal this problem is. I mean it explains every war in every country in every time period. It explains every act of genocide.
And, of course, it explains the current Republican party and their anti-woke rhetoric.

I take it to mean this is an evolutionary property of humans that we all have. Some of us are the instigators and leaders of it. While the vast majority of us get sucked into it by peer pressure.

I am grateful that I have learned about it. I want nothing to do with it.

Please don't attack me for posting this link. I understand that the topic will upset a lot of people who are already part of a collective like this. I didn't want to start a new thread with it for that reason. But I'll take a chance with it as a reply to an existing thread.
