Nothing going on in the USA in the way of festivities (our "Labour Day" is the first Monday of September), but I am at least wearing a red shirt today.

But, aren't a lot of proletarians a part of the bourgeoisie? Bourgeois, meaning living in a town, as opposed to a rural area (les paysans).
