are you a moderate, fundimentiaist or extremist...

*note I did not use religion or faith but belief system because that encompasses atheism and agnosticism.

Before the first vote is cast can we pound out the definitions...

I gotta correct a common misconception here. Agnosticism and atheism are not belief systems. Lack of belief is not a belief, and one statement does not make a system.

Atheism means one does not have a belief in gods.
Agnosticism means one does not claim to have knowledge of gods.

Neither statement says anything else about any belief system. Raelians, for example, are gnostic atheist religious people, while almost all "agnostics" and "atheists" are agnostic atheists. Jains are also agnostic atheists. Indeed, the belief system is entirely different from "atheist" to "atheist".

But as an agnostic atheist, I voted moderate, because I am moderate in my personal belief system.

I don't know. I'm the only person I know of in the world that believes exactly in the way that I do. :?

Well, agnosticism in particular might tend to make certain epistemological claims that could be construed as a belief system.

If you mean those agnostics that claim knowledge of gods is unknowable, then that is not an aspect of agnosticism but a personal belief. Much like an atheist can also have a belief that gods do not exist, but it is not required to be an atheist, therefore having that belief is not an aspect of atheism.

This is an ill-formed poll. Belief System? Belief in what? Gods? Physical Reality? Platonic Forms?

I will give an answer that is not included.

I believe every thing that exists is what it is and not what it is not.

I do not believe actual contradictions exist.

1) Atheism deals with the lack of belief.

2) Agnosticism deals with the lack of knowledge.

Therefore, this doesn't apply to atheists, and it only applies to the agnostics who aren't theists.

I refuse to vote.

No, that's an aspect of agnosticism.

Atheism is the BELIEF that there is no God.

That is one form. Another is the refusal to belief there is a God. This is not the same thing.

Er, nope, unless you're a gnostic atheist of course, and those are few in between.

Moderate. It's impossible to be an extremist or fundamentalist in my faith, if you read the scriptures and follow the laws.
