Pineapple on pizza is awesome.

Discovered that recently when someone bought us pizza at work.

Before that I considered the notion of pineapple on pizza to be ....HERESY most foul!

Well yeah, why do you think I eat mushrooms when I can get them? Ha ha, even if the trip itself gets rather intense, that afterglow is nice and it really does help keep the depression away.

I can only encourage further research into the benefits of mushrooms, as I would like to know more about why they can help depression like as far as science goes, but in my experience I can say for sure say they do help. But that is anecdotal I am still curious about the science of why it can help that.

They aren't soft on a pizza either.
They are erky perky when in goulash. :eew:

It is more the texture that I have a problem with.
I wouldn't eat them out of a can.
It would be like eating slugs. Brrrr.

You may wonder how I know what slugs taste like.
Please don't go there. 8O  <joke>

I believe this.
I've noticed my mood is usually pretty stable after eating mushrooms.
I try to make sure I get some every week, and turn them into pasta sauce. Not bad.

l like to fry em up on the skillet with other vegatables (diced celery, carrot strips, bell pepper slices), and whatever meat , and mix with spagetti sauce to top the spagetti.

They certainly dont hurt my mood.

When you fry em they arent as icky.

But it's not like eating slugs, it is like eating powdery crumbles....or do shrooms always come fresh in Australia, in that case they could be more slug like in texture butut I have only had dried shrooms. Also one may wonder how I know what a moth tastes like...that said it tastes like you think it would. That said I was drunk when I ate the moth and not sure I could do that sober.

When you start a thread like this you HAVE to include a polite disclaimer sentence.

The statement that you dont mean THOSE kinda "mushrooms", but regular old pizza topping type mushrooms.

Psychedelic mushrooms are famous/notorious for being "mood altering" for obvious reasons. While any mental health benifits of regular edible mushrooms in the grocery store are far less obvious. So you know readers will make jokes about that if you dont put a disclaimer up front.

Mushroom on pizza? Ooh. Ok. Now that will lift some of us out of depression... PIZZA!! HAHA!

Ok. I will be sensible now. :P

yummers Pizza .! !! !! !! !! :P

It is more an irrational thing for me.
One of my peccadilloes.

Contrary to popular belief, I am not perfect.
Close, but no cigar. 8)

Has anyone a direct line to "PETA"?
Your crime against "animality" has been noted.
I hope it was put down humanely before you ate it. 8O

I don't know much about mushrooms.
I don't eat them.
But I am sure there are dried products out there. 8)
