Victoria and NSW haven't sent all their deplorables to you yet.

Maybe that's why the protests have fizzled out. :P Why protest lockdowns in your own state, when you can move to a state without them (fingers crossed for the next few days).

For the moment, the plan in QLD is still to open up when the state reaches 80% of the population being double vaccinated. Some people in the state government (and probably some of the general population as well) would like to hold off a bit longer, either until vaccination numbers are even higher, or until case numbers in NSW and Victoria have decreased more. Others will want to open up in time for Christmas and the summer holidays. Time will tell what ends up happening here.

Finally, finally, after a week's worth of rain, it is clearing up, but only for a predicted 3 days.
This constant rain is a pain in the arse, err, for Tim Flannery. :lmao:

I will now, finally, be able to get back into the garden to do some weeding.
Hopefully, the skies will be clear today, god willing.

The garden is going gang-busters with all the precipitation, btw. 8)

No rain is forecasted for the next 2 days!
Good lord, Tim Flannery was right after all! 8O

Oh, wait, at least 5 days of rain are predicted after that.

Here I thought that "the weather" was the epitome of "small talk".

But you Aussies have been arguing about the weather now for nine pages! 8O

90% of 10-20 mm of rain is predicted for today, here.

Another major thunderstorm in Queensland.

Timmy, Timmy, Timmy. <sigh>
What does it feel like to have no credibility?
I have no idea whatsoever. 8)

I spent the day painting walls at one of my places.
Now sitting on the back deck in the wind watching the weather come across, looks like being a rainy couple of days.

Stalag 13 is missing one of it's finest.
Maybe Sergeant Shultz knows?

Only a few spots of rain here this morning and the rest of the day was blue skies and a few clouds. Hopefully this evening graces us with some wet stuff falling from the sky.

Best wishes from the bald bloke down Woronora way.

10-15 min drive away from the river.
The RNP is one of my favourite places to run.
