I think our last President actually resembled that remark.
and obama is bush 2.0

People give the president too much credit for stuff. Congress is what controls whether or not the president can act, they're the ones allowing and doing this crap.

Heavens-to-Betsy, don't say that to Kraichgauer!
Obama is his lord and master but Bush was the Sith lord.

Nah, the Sith were Cheney and the others running the show as the power behind the throne.

I've also remember hearing Rumsfeld referred to as the Reichsfuhrer by liberals.

Bush was not strong with the Force. He let Rumsfeld and Cheney lead him around by the nose.

Here's the thing about our government: They're seeing terrorists where they don't exist and they're waging wars where we don't belong.
What needs to be done is, we need to tell our government to stick their noses up their own *sses instead of everyone else's. Until that happens, you can bet (and win) on every move that the government makes against other countries because they don't know how to sit down, shut up, and mind their own business. Let the UN handle it. America does not have to be in the middle of every d*mned conflict in the world, we have our own problems to worry about, not the least of which is our economic situation.

What about terrorists where the DO exist? As in the World Trade Center on 9/11/2001 or the Boston Marathon Massacre?

It really is time to start getting a grip on the reality that a small, fantastically rich power elite creates wars on purpose to make money selling arms to both sides. Besides making money for elite, it keeps people at each others throats and off their back.

Mass media, mass money, mass Hollywood, and a dumbed down public make it possible to pull off the most amazing acts of government sponsored terrorism a sociopath could dream up. Like WTC and Boston. Then they tighten the controls, shred more rights in the name of security, and keep people scared and easier to manage.

The overseas terrorist boogy man/woman is mostly just impoverished people in other countries blowing each other up because they belong to factions that differ in ways similar to coke vrs. pepsi and the elite gives each the bombs to do it.

While I suspect the CIA and other intelligence agencies may have from time to time kept our enemies occupied by arming each side against the other, not to mention the Saudi elites have an interest in doing such things, I doubt the American moneyed elite is so much involved. No, they're more interested in dividing and conquering ordinary Americans by convincing one group that they would be rich already were it not for that other group (ethnic or sexual minorities, the poor, etc.), thereby playing up on resentment that the "undeserving" are allegedly getting all the breaks.

I agree with your second sentence, but not the first. It is not a time to time thing. It is standard operating procedure. War makes money. All the filthy rich are into the game on a daily basis.
