Goodbye, Frothy. I guess we liberals and moderates can't fixate on your lunacy anymore - even though you probably never really had a chance.

He dropped out because of his daughter's illness. Whether you agree with his views or not (I don't), putting family before anything else signifies superb character.

I wish Bella a speedy recovery.

Most certainly I hope his little girl gets better.
And while his daughter's illness was probably a factor in his decision, I still have to think that even in his deluded mind, he knew he wasn't going to beat Romney - and feared he'd be laid to waste in his own state of Pennsylvania.

The reason he used to drop out was his daughter's illness, that is not why he dropped out. He dropped out of the race so he wouldn't be humiliated in pennslyvania

Yeah, you can't go around governing when your daughter is really sick.

A very selfless move on Santorum's part.

I said from the start he didnt have a chance.
But now you've got Romney to write pages and pages of hate threads about..........in addition to the existing ones.

As opposed to all the hatred you've written about Obama?

I don't know what everyone else will think about this but I am not a fan of Joe Biden.

I hope his daughter gets better. I am sure there was more to his desision than just Bella, but I find it interesting that she got sick both times right before an important vote.

Other than that, I can sleep alittle better tonight knowing we wont be a theocracy come Nov. However, I dont like any of them including Obama...not looking forward to Nov.

Well, at least America won;t get *too* much worse come election time, although I don't think anything good will happen either.

Well, he's a theocrat and a dangerous frothing lunatic...

...but I can't help feeling we've lost the only honest and moral candidate in the race.

Raise your kids, Rick. Love your little girl, and leave the rest of us alone.

If I see you up around Butler, I might wave. Take care.

Maybe so. But it's only out of righteous indignation.

There are two unseemly things that we should never see grown up people do:

1. Compare the size of their genitals

2. Compare the righteousness of their motives.
