I'm not sure what this bill would accomplish. Our ground-based mass transit infrastructure is far too large to protect! :?

I don't know, they're passing more laws to restrict protests and so forth in Canada. The Unlawful Assembly law in Canada is ridiculous and always has been.

Apparently the unauthorized distribution of pamphlets is a violation of homeland security, but we've only used that card once against an elderly man handing out pamphlets informing jurors of their jury nullification rights.. he is now an Israeli citizen, granted under political exile.
And we have essentially the same thing regarding permits for assembly, its just not enforced yet.

Sounds stupid, does this mean I am going to have to be prepared for a strip search just to get on a bus in the next 5 years?
