Correction, something is wrong with the AMERICAN trademark laws, first Apple patent round corners and now this. Over on our side of the pond the reaction is a straight split between humor and amazement.

Someone needs to abolish the US patent/trademark system. It is stifling innovation rather than encouraging it.

The attorney isn't acting as a responsible officer of the court, and the case will never go anywhere.

However, the guy did get his name and logo into the papers. We'll see how that works out, I guess.

So apparently I will be able to get rich if I trademark the letters 'A','E','I','O', and 'U', and charge usage rights?
