Chicago Tribune: U.S. warns Russia about military support for Syria president

Sigh.....I can't help think that sooner or later we'll end up at war with Russia.
It just about has to happen....

They're not officially in Syria, so it would probably be safe to bomb them.

Who says we have to be on either side? We have an interest in preventing Putin from extending his tentacles into vulnerable parts of the world.

If the Cuban Missile Crisis didn't do it and the reunification of Germany didn't do it.
I don't know what would trigger a war between the U.S. and Russia.

With that said, the bill is sitting the House to authorize Obama to send the military into Syria.
So far there isn't enough votes to get it passed in either chamber.

Russia has a right to be there, the US or "coalition forces" or oil rich Arab princes don't. There are no moderate rebels, Syria cannot survive without Assad just as Libya can't with Gaddafi. Where ever the US goes in the middle east, death and destruction follows with it.

Also, I reccomend we get rid of our own despotic plutocracy before we go re-arranging others.

We can't ignore what is going on over there, but if we aren't willing to go all in, I think we should stay all out. This wishy-washy half measure crap doesn't cut it.

The people who fled Iraq are going to invade Syria?

Russia has had a Navel Base in Syria forever. Is Barry saying they have to leave because he is going to rule Syria?

Is Barry also forbidding Syria to own guns? Should the Russians take them when they leave?

One, violating the airspace of another country is an act of war.

Two, arming terrorists to invade a country is an act of war.

Three, threats against the Syrian Army if they fight the new crop of American trained invaders, 58, who promptly got killed or captured, by ISIS, is direct support of ISIS.

Barri al Washitoni is an ISIS leader, founder, and a supporter of State Terrorism.

Syria has the largest group of Eastern Orthodox outside of Russia.

Syria has the largest Christian community in North Africa. They hosted nearly a million Christian refugees from Iraq.

Syria is winning in the West, Iran is winning in the East.

For God, Syria, and Assad!
