They just spoke to some members of the gangs ("Crypts", "Bloods", and "Brown Gorillas" - not "Guerilla" gangs), and they said they were concerned about being perceived as animals on the media.....

A church has now been set on-fire.....

They just told the media: "Get-back----get-back----get-back!!"

They've got someone down on the ground.....

They just announced that all Baltimore City schools, are closed tomorrow.....

People are continuing to throw rocks, assault police officers, and looting / destroying businesses.....

Someone just walked-up to the reporter, live, to ask people: "Please y'all stop this----if you're a young person, please go home----stop this----stop this, in the name of Jesus, stop this. If you're a young person out here, right now----go home, right now----please stop this....."

Rioting actually does solve things. It imposes a cost on bad behavior by the establishment that they would not otherwise face. The courts refuse to punish killer cops, people riot. It's a pretty straightforward chain of consequences.

You have to look pretty hard to find anyone actually analyzing the data on this, but it is out there. It's much easier to claim that rioting doesn't solve anything, but the facts simply don't back that argument up.

The reporter just said she could smell the city burning.....

She's asking someone what they see as the roll of the gang members, in this.....

Every reporter that they cut-to, you can hardly hear their report because of the sirens.....

Governor Hogan spoke to President Obama, on the phone, this evening----obviously you already know that, because of the "State of Emergency"----but, I'm just typing what they're saying, on the TV.....

They just made another arrest, in a looting incident, and they have the person, in custody / on the ground.....

Elsewhere, there's been a police chase, and a shooting, in regard to a robbery.....

I'm just thinking about all the people who've lost jobs, today, because their businesses have been burned / looted.

A phone store, convenience store, and liquor store were just looted----in one store, a teenager smashed a bottle into the head of the store manager.....

Another car's been set on-fire.....

Baltimore clergy, the Nation of Islam, police officers, and members of the local gangs are meeting, to try and come to some kind of agreement.....

4-5 people were beaten, inside a building that was being looted.....

There are now 3 cars, on-fire, in an intersection.....

The report is that there are foot-chases, and looting in just about every area of Baltimore, right now.....

Two row homes, are now on-fire.....

The mayor is due to speak, at any moment, now----I'll letcha know what she says.....

This is soooo surreal----all these people, runnin'-around the streets----it's like, SURELY, this is happening in another town, in another state / country----but, it's NOT!!

On CNN it says the mayor has imposed a mandatory curfew. We will see how that goes.

There are a bunch of police, standing abreast, all across the width of a street, and someone just threw one of those huge metal trashcans, that was on-fire, at them.....

Anybody with an internet connection that supports streaming video can watch WBAL-TV channel 11 in Baltimore and LIVE reports/coverage at wbaltv.com. I have cable internet, but it isn't that great, and WBAL's video kept buffering on me.
