Ahh, the deep web. You are bound to get caught using that, even the most clever, careful criminals on the network will get busted by some sort of trojan. There is an entire Linux distribution dedicated to Tor called TAILS.

Onion sites take longer to load because internet traffic through Tor is heavily encrypted and the encrypted traffic passes through as series of "relay" computers volunteered to make The Onion Router (Tor) more stable. I've actually checked it out, I've stayed away from things like child porn, snuff films, porn and hacked webcams among other shady things. I haven't bought anything either (to all law enforcement entities I have committed no crimes in case you are looking here, which you shouldn't be) I just checked out some black markets like Nucleus, Agora, Alphabay and more. Heroin, LSD and marijuana are most popular by far but they offer methadone, methamphetamine, amphetamines, cocaine, shrooms, ectasy, xanax and basically any drug you can think of. You can also purchase weapons such as military grade weapons, bombs and for people that live in Canada there are butterfly knives and tasers. There is also DIY bomb and drug tutorials along with ingredients to create/cook drugs.

It is a shady place, it gets distracting. I spent a lot of time looking at sites with interesting things until I got bored of it after 2 months.

You guys you check it out (don't commit crimes) it isn't illegal to look at darknet markets.

Download the Tor Browser, on Windows it's straight forward, mac I have no clue, Linux you must extract the .xz file to your desktop, open it and click Setup then you are good to go. If you want to visit sites go on thehiddenwiki.org by the way almost all of the links that claim to sell things are spoofed check DeepDotWeb to make sure there real because it could get your IP and your address.

It's not for me. Sounds like shady, illegal bs people get caught for so what's the point? I have no interest in it just because it's mysterious and illegal. It holds no fascination for me. I don't have the browser installed nor will I ever.

I was just wondering if the guy who bought all that ricin was planning a terrorist attack of some kind and is he the only one?

Okay, I'm interested in crime and stuff, but I don't commit it.

He was probably planning on poisoning someone ricin is not typically used in terrorist attacks and I don't that is possible. Maybe he is a drug dealer and killing some of the competition so he can have the streets to himself. Perhaps it's family relating such as a cheating wife, we probably won't know any time soon.

i'm waiting for the other shoe to fall.

You know, the shoe where the FBI admits that an agent talked him into planning an attack and then suggested where he could buy some ricin.

That's what I was thinking, it's pretty simple to do...

I just read this other link that says Mr Ali was simply curious about it and not really going to do anything with it. It even goes so far to say he has Asperger's Syndrome traits. I was unaware of this before. He also searched how to make ricin at home. He said he wanted the poison for peaceful purposes but the prosecutor claims his internet searches contradict it. Maybe as the trial progresses more will be revealed concerning the searches he made.

Ya they can be processed from caster beans.

Thank you Nobody Knows, I was going to say the same thing when I first read this post but didn't want to be the first one. The castor bean plant is easy to grow and hard to kill, no need for the deep internet. You can also get digitalis from foxglove plant and arsenic from peach and apricot pits.

What if you do not have a green thumb or a large enough yard? The plant grows as an annual in places that experience a harsh winter. So you would have to wait and harvest enough beans to create the ricin. And, you run the risk of your castor bean plant being noticed. It might not always be practical to grow this in other words. Just face it, if it were that easy, no one would of used rat poison, when it contained arsenic. They would have just relied on their peach orchard to fulfill their needs. Logistics could hamper home growers.

When I was a kid people grew castor bean plants in their yards legally. They have big pretty dark green leaves.
Peaches can be bought at the grocery store but many people don't realise that there is poison in the pits. I have heard so many people say they want to roast the insides of the pits to eat. Foxglove can be grown in the flower beds and do well in pots.

Even though these things can be grown and or consumed legally it is not a good idea to actually make poison from them much less buy the poison made from them.
