Ted Cruz Campaign manager let it slip that Cruz will announce tonight, that he will end his campaign for president after getting a massive spanking in Indiana by the voters.

Trump Triumphant!

Now if only other candidates would follow suit...

Though there is still a chance that the RNC will change the rules barring Trump from the nomination.

You do understand that the RNC can disavow Trump and choose someone else if they do so wish.

Also if Trump does pivot to the center or tries, his voters will abandon him.

Right now the biggest donors to the GOP are withholding money until they find a suitable candidate.
The Koch brothers through their networks, give over $400M+ each election cycle since 2004, which accounts for over 50% of the GOP's money.

Without the Koch Brothers money the GOP will be easily handicapped.

Trump has cost the GOP 50%+ of their funds.

Now Ted can go back to Texas, and hopefully be forgotten.

We still have 2 more years of him as senator.

I am not a Tedhead either, and I am a Republican. I do like John Cornyn, our other senator.

He's still a U.S. Senator and can still derail the impending budget vote.
He will probably go back to DC and push for TPP to be passed.

Don't count on it! There's still 2020 and 2024 (Lord help me if I'm still living.)

I think Trump has shown how little importance money has on the race, Trump won't be short on money either believe me. Trump's voters won't abandon him, I think that much has been shown already. Trump will overwhelming Hillary; he'll destroy her and husband's legacies just like he did the Bush family, the National Review, Fox News, whoever has stood in his way.

I beg to differ.
Once Trump drops the conservative shtick and goes progressive, his voters will abandon him wholesale and stay home.
His voters are really conservative republicans, who are upset that the GOP is not conservative enough.

Those voters hate everyone else as dirty liberals who are wrecking the country.

Trump is polling negative with all other groups to a extreme extent.

Plus he's leading by 2 points in the general, according to the Rasmussen poll.

How are you celebrating?
