More bizarre misogyny and cult of masculinity rhetoric from the Trump campaign:

Trump's locker room boasts of grabbing women on private parts (on the tape released today) are further evidence of a longstanding sexist (and possibly criminal) disrespect for women

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/201 ... f-misogyny

From flippant offensive comments about women to serious allegations of assault from those he has encountered through his relationships and career, Trump stands accused of misogyny to a degree that has not been seen in mainstream American politics for decades.
(quoted from the link)

I contend that no reasonable person could read Trump's claims in the tape content released today and not see the connection to his sense of narcissistic level entitlement plainly set out. It's there, plain as daylight.

Perhaps a bit more homoerotic than Republicans would like to acknowledge.

If I were American, I would not be voting this year.

The fact that he's so widely supported hints that at least a big fraction of the public likes seeing powerful individuals abusing less powerful people. They call it "political incorrectness" and this way it sounds nearly heroic :D

Bullies are popular.

The cult of masculinity, in which men admire eachother, is like Thermopylae.

That's his schtick-- he makes those supporters feel powerful. Truth is his supporters are scared-- the world is moving at a rapid pace, as the world has shrunk through technology they're starting to realize how small they really are. Trump allows them to put all that in the back of their mind and feel "strong".

His women are supposed to be the best paid in their industries, in this case, given expensive furniture, but never actually rendering sexual favors.

At least one figurehead of the alt right penetrates himself, on camera. I think you're supposed to be admiring Trump's shoulders and hand size, while single-wage-earner households are no longer part of the social contract.
