The School Superintendent REtweeted this (I didn't have enough room to write that part, in the title), but that doesn't make it any less stinging, IMO. I'd like to think he didn't mean this in a racist way----I'd LIKE to think that----but, it's a bit difficult "getting there", for me.

For some reason----and, I just don't get it----but, for some reason, it seems that most are thinking that everybody who voted for PE Trump is racist, because that's what they perceive HIM, to be. I don't agree with that----that PE Trump is a racist, OR that everybody who voted for him, is. I really am thinking that the people who supported PE Trump, had alot more issues on their mind----NOT that some of them might not ALSO be racist, but.....

Racist because it treats non-whites as inferior people who need comfort.

Ahhh .. poor little non-white ... it's gonna be OK ... don't you worry .... I'll be here for you ....

It's perfectly in line with that other trendy virtue-signal, the diaper pin:

Voting for Trump when you know the minority or someone who is is like supporting Autism Speaks when you know someone who has autism. You would feel hurt if you found out they supported Autism Speaks so that is how people feel about Trump when you support him. That is why it has struck such a cord with lot of people.

When I say you, I mean the general you, not literally you.

I didn't find the post racist at all. Just someone telling people to show the minority you still care about them and to help them but he just didn't want to leave anyone out so he put "non whites."

Its not racist.
Coulda been phrased better. Like saying "tell children of all creeds and colors that we will protect them in the after math of this unusually heated election".
