Kim Jong-un's half-brother 'assassinated by two female agents using poisoned needles' in Malaysia

What do you think of it?

At least he wasn't put into a cage with a pack of wild hungry dogs.

I think maybe a military coup was in the process of developing in North Korea, and the plotters were looking to replace Kim with his brother - or so Kim might have imagined - and so Kim got rid of a possible rival.

NHK went into considerable detail on this story. Apparently, Jong-Nam was getting protection from Chinese state security for many years. This lead Jong-Un to worry that China might be thinking of supplanting him. Jong-Nam was traveling without protection under a fake passport when he was assassinated.

Actually, I heard that Kim Jr. found out his brother was texting with Ivanka Trump.

I am quite obsessed with North Korea, as I am with most authoritarian regimes. I know someone who has sneaked into the country from China, blew my mind when I first heard but he explained it is common at one particular spot. Bribes paid, boat across the river and you are in a sh*tty market village over the border. It's where goods are smuggled in.

This person you know sneaked IN to North Korea? Did so via China by crossing the Yalu River? Interesting.

I am always worried that the slightest thing could set North Korea off. What do you think would happen if Kim Jung Un died?

Maybe one of his government officials will take over. Or maybe a war will start. Civil war or war with another country, it will be bad, considering North Korea has nuclear weapons.

The reason I wonder is that North Koreans are taught from birth that Un's family is magic. Who could fill their place?

China bans ALL coal imports from North Korea!

I think the end is soon approaching for Kim Jong-Un

Don't know the name of the river but said most weekends a boat or 2 go over, people smuggle goods there and fans of 'dark tourism' get to wander round a North Korean market. I would be worried about getting picked up and disappearing into a gulag.

I am writing this while wearing a North Korean t shirt. 8)

With the logo of "The Pyongyang Packers" football team on it? Lol!

Or just with the mug of the "Dear Leader" emblazoned on it?
