I think that they may try to curtail the spred of consumerism, and when there's a backlash amongst the youth, the CCP will have a crackdown Tiananmen style, but on a much wider scale. Then again, this could be the rise of the obsolescence of Chinese communism. --If so I hope it leads to something more optimal than a one party dictatorship, or an outright military dictatorship.

Well what the hell do you expect when you police every aspect of your country?

No wonder so many young Chinese are going abroad to study.

They study abroad because their government orders them to. Not because theyre trying to escape government orders.

But they do get exposed to western ideas when they do study abroad.
