"Ford CEO Jim Hackett says Trump's Chinese steel tariff cost the company 1 Billion dollars of profit".

"A global headcount reduction of approximately 12 percent,” which would equate to 24,000 of Ford’s 202,000 workers across the world. The aggressive job cuts are expected to arrive in early 2019".

It's going to be interesting if this even brings back jobs to America overall.

We might get higher prices + less jobs.

Looks like fat boy didn't think ahead on that one. If he's now creating layoffs instead of jobs, he's toast for sure.

He's making America work again /sarcasm

Seriously though, what happened to the conservative's former notion that business runs better and creates more jobs without government intervention?

Is trying to manage the economy some sort of right wing socialism?

He won't beat the Chinese at state-controlled capitalism. They've had 40 years more experience than him.
