Miss Carol Channing

Carol Channing is gone.

One of the greats; her life was show business.

She did it all; film, T.V., and her greatest love, Broadway.

She was 97.

R.I.P., Miss Channing, May the angels applaud as you enter the pearly gates.

I remember her fondly from the live action version of Alice in Wonderland I used to watch all the time as a kid.

Although Satchmo’s version comes very close (his rendition is the only good thing about the movie version)

Satchmo was one of the greatest performers, also....

Another who just loved being in front of an audience.

R.I.P to 2 true stars.
