Conservatives are terrified of Ocasio cause she's literally the embodiment of the things they dislike the most about Hilary, Obama and Bernie.

She inspires the gender anxiety that Hilary does but moreso cause she's young and attractive. Racial anxiety of Obama but moreso because she names White supremacy and shames racists. And she probably has an even more trans-formative agenda than Bernie, while being a young woman of color at that.

Watching right wingers try to discredit her is both sad and amusing. Almost like them trying to pit Hilary as corrupt and hold up Trump to a good light in the same moon

The part of sly's post that needs further explanation is what he means by OAC "says stupid things." So far, IMO, she's said a lot of very intelligent things. I'm curious what stupid things she has said.. I must have missed them.

But sly's pretty bang on in his observation that you are often quick to jump to sexism. It's almost as if you view most situations through that lens. I don't view this as him attacking you, simply commenting on an observation with a valid point. Maybe you don't realize you come across that way to others and this is an opportunity to take a step back and analyze why that is. Anyways, JohnPowell just wrote a post about a different female politician he supports. Clearly he has an issue with her points of view, not her gender.

Maybe? :lol: We just had our first real snowfall of the season. Only a few flakes that haven't really stuck before, but today we just got nearly 1/3 of a foot where I am. This polar vortex thing may in fact of just frozen over hell, too..

Agree. Seeing some of the dedicated Trumpers attack her for pretty much anything and everything, including personal insults, suggest they fear her.

Most people don't see isms everywhere. She's would bankrupt the US beyond repair and take trillions from the public to pay for insane 'green' policies. She also talked about taking money from people at the "TIPPY TOP". It's embarrassing. Her family came to America to escape socialism and now she wants to enforce those policies in the US. If she had any credibility the media would be attacking her.
