You're obviously just going to believe whatever you want to believe because it's the opposite of what people you don't like believe, no matter what evidence or arguments are set before you. I'm going to keep bringing the evidence to support my arguments even though I know it won't make a difference with your mindset, because it might be interesting or informative for others reading these threads.


What spawned this conversation is identity is a bad thing. Are you going to deflect now since I made a legitimate argument? If Identity is bad, then please explain to me how gender science is good, as it is strongly focused on identity. Contradictions don't work.

also, this conversation started off of a comment that VegetableMan stated, I do not dislike VegetableMan so your assumption is very flawed. Also, I disagree with people because I disagree with people, it has nothing to do with whether I like them or not, same goes for when I agree with people.

Yes, I didn't mean to insist 'all ideas are good', clearly there are bad ideas. This started off of 'identity is bad', thus you identifying as a man or white, rich or poor is a bad thing.

My assumption is based on your interactions on this forum, not just this thread. It just seems like you've identified a group you don't like ("the left") so you just automatically take the opposite side of an issue from what you believe the left would be on and doggedly argue for that opposite simply because it disagrees with "the left" and not because it has any value or because you can find good evidence to support it. Because the arguments you make often are observably false or just don't make sense, unless one considers that you might just be taking that "side" because you don't want to agree with the left about anything and not because your knowledge and experience has led you to that "side". That is the impression I get from your comments on various political issues.

Wrong!Your assumption on me disliking the left is absurd also, I dislike the 'radical-left', very different from progressive left and moderate left. I disagree with a lot of conservative vews also, they generally don't get brought up because what exist here is mostly lefties.

Incase you missed this, which I highly doubt but just incase...

I support:

Gun rights
Border security
Freedom of speech
Public schools
A new progressive tax bracket for 10million
The Welfare system
Anti-war & against US presence in other countries
Abortions

Now, what category would you suggest I fall in?

You tend to believe what you want to believe and if anyone disagrees and makes a point to insist otherwise you will ignore it and keep making the same argument. It was a woman who wrote that piece, not a "girl"--but I'm not surprised you talk like that about women, especially women who write about academic subjects like philosophy and logic. But according to you it was written by a "girl", so you don't have to take it seriously. We don't call grown women "girls" anymore in an attempt to undermine them, we've grown out of that as a culture. Try to get with the times.

Actually there are no requirements for me to participate in any thread other than the rules set by WP. Do tell, what the hell is a 'alt-right buzzword'? Where were your compression skills last night when you kept arguing 'majority' when I kept saying repeatedly I wasn't suggesting the 'majority', then when I force you to address it by only writing one sentence you claim I can't backpedal, when in fact I had corrected that overstatement 4 pages previous to your comment on backpedaling and continuesly mentioned it as you continuesly ignored it? :roll:
