The Trump administration levied new sanctions on Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua on Wednesday, using the language of the Cold War — and of President Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign — in a vow to combat socialism, communism and human rights abuses.

Add to this his muslim ban, Mexico wall and cut in foreign aid - Trump has coined a new American war

"War agains't sh++hole countries"

Well it seems obvious they're not going to become less s**thole of their own volition.

Definition of a s**thole country: A country that's run so poorly, its citizens are fleeing to America in droves to escape all of the crime and poverty that's the result of a corrupt and incompetent government.

I find it interesting that the leaders of those countries, who are responsible for most of the problems there, seem to go completely ignored in favor of 'orange man bad to brown people'.

I don't see him going after Saudi Arabia, China, Sri Lanka or Burma who are far worse...

I hate to break this to you, but Trump has placed sactions on China, Saudi Arabia and Burma.

If you're going back to the 'orange man only mean to brown people' routine again, Trump has placed sanctions on the Balkins and extended sactions on Russia.

The fact that you said, "I don't see him going after Saudi Arabia, China, Sri Lanka or Burma who are far worse..." When each of those is clearly on the list of countries Trump has placed sactions on, says a lot.

You say this like it's some sort of gotcha, but I have no idea why. Being the opposite of Norway would be pretty bad along pretty much any axis.

That's seen as being racist. As in you're supposedly saying Norway is superior because Norwegians are so white they would pass Hitler's Aryan race requirements with flying colors.

Well, if one was myopically focused on race to the exclusion of literally everything else, sure. I for one would agree that the opposite of Norway in terms of climate might be nice if a bit too hot, and if the quote unquote sacrifice that come with that is Norweigans getting a bit duskier, I'd be pretty okay with it.

I think that's what people interpreted was going on in Trump's brain when he was making the comparison between people from Africa and South America and people from Norway. He's a masterfully slippery fellow though and would probably never be held accountable for this, anyway it was said behind closed doors and not on his bulging twitter account

That's what liberals decided what was going on in Trump's brain. That's how it works, what they decide makes it so.

There's a pattern of racist things he and his father have done which serves as a precedence for his comments.

His adversaries know exactly with whom they are dealing with.

How much are you bending over backwards to defend this man???
