I remember when his daughter and wife died so soon together, and he did a solo motorbike journey across North America to philosophise and mourn them. His grief was profound.
Rest in peace to one of the best.

One of the greatest drummers of all time. I got to see Rush live a few times over the years and they always put on a great show. Neil’s drum solos were often the highlight of their live shows. I feel lucky that I got to see a true master of his craft. So many drummers today owe a huge debt to him. He will be greatly missed. RIP.
